Seth Rollins is going to be challenging Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship on the season premiere of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, New York on October 10th. The last time they wrestled, Lashley came out victorious after Riddle distracted Rollins.
Their rematch came about following a win Lashley got over Mustafa Ali. Seth ambushed Lashley from behind gave him and Ali a ‘Curb Stomp’.
For the ‘Main Event’ taping prior to Raw going live, Fallon Henley and former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen were in action. Fallon took on Dana Brooke and Brooks and Jenson faced Shelton Benjamin and R-Truth.
Both Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae suffered their first losses since returning to WWE. Bayley assisted Dakota Kai in besting LeRae. Gargano was defeated by Otis after Austin Theory hit him in the back with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Gargano and Theory are going one-on-one next week.
The Miz is celebrating his birthday (October 8th) on the season premiere of Raw. Maryse will be present for it. During his on-screen segment, as Miz was talking to Maryse, Dexter Lumis could be seen creeping up in the background but Miz went to address a producer before Lumis could grab him. Later in the show, prior to Gargano’s match against Otis, he walked passed Lumis holding a passed out Miz and when he walked back, Lumis was gone.

In the show opener, Finn Balor and Damian Priest defeated Rey Mysterio and A.J. Styles. Post-match, Styles shoved Mysterio to the ground but ended up being jumped by The Judgment Day.
