Episode 19 sees Chris Charlton and Alan Counihan look at 2007. NJPW starts the tradition of calling their biggest show of the year Wrestle Kingdom, which sees New Japan take on the top stars of AJPW. Results are mixed, but Yuji Nagata and Minoru Suzuki are a highlight.

Episode 18 sees Chris Charlton and STRIGGA look at 2006. NJPW were attempting to find their feet under new ownership as Riki Choshu returned to head the company creatively, pitting top company stars against indie prospects.

Episode 17 sees Chris Charlton and Matt Charlton look at 2005. NJPW reaches their lowest ebb, business wise, with extremely poor attendance in the Dome, but some bright spots as Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi begin their rivalry. Meanwhile, NOAH hold another classic show with a legendary bout between Kensuke Sasaki and Kenta Kobashi standing out in particular.

Episode 16 sees Chris Charlton and John Carroll look at 2004. Despite a strong start to the year, NJPW would struggle, especially through a difficult IWGP title reign for Bob Sapp. Meanwhile NOAH make their Tokyo Dome debut with a fantastic Departure card. Episode 15 sees Chris Charlton and Jonathan Snowden look at 2003. The merging of the MMA and pro wrestling worlds brought some strange results, as NJPW dabbled with MMA bouts on their cards, while Wrestle-1 put top flight fighters in the bizarrest of pro wrestling scenarios.
