Jeff Hardy pleads guilty to driving while impaired following March arrest

Jeff Hardy appeared in court on Monday and pleaded guilty to driving while impaired following an arrest this past March. Hardy will have his driver's license suspended, will pay and a fine and attend special classes as a result of the charge.

Jeff Hardy was in court in Cabarrus County on Monday following his arrest in March for driving while impaired.

The arrest occurred on March 10th where the arrest report stated that he drove off the roadway and hit the guardrail, which caused his vehicle to spin. The report added that Hardy did an estimated $8,000 damage to his vehicle and $5,000 in damages to the guardrail he hit. Hardy was discovered to have a 0.25 blood alcohol level after submitting to a breath test.

On Monday, Hardy pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. Hardy’s driver’s license has been suspended for 120 days and he was fined $300 for the offense. He will also take part in special classes.

The WWE issued a statement in March acknowledging that they were investigating the incident and added that Hardy was responsible for his own actions.

At the time of his arrest, Hardy was still recovering from injury and wasn’t on the road with the WWE.
