WRESTLING NEWS

**WrestleMania 35 tickets went on sale to the public Friday following a pre-sale earlier this week. There was tremendous demand for the show with scattered tickets remaining two hours after they went on sale. It is not known how many tickets were put on sale and how many were held back but it appears that is going to be among the more successful shows the company has ever promoted. The non-platinum seats ranged from $107 – $2,507 with platinum seating going as high as $6,007 per ticket. The event takes place Sunday, April 7th at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and is the second WrestleMania to take place from the stadium with WrestleMania 29 in 2013 the first.

**The WWE has released a tremendous feature following Becky Lynch on Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings as she learned of the company’s decision to pull her from the Survivor Series. Seriously, this six-minute video could have been the cold open to SmackDown and ended by going to break with the tease of who Becky would choose to replace her.

**Shawn Michaels was a guest on Edge & Christian’s podcast on Friday to discuss his recent match at Crown Jewel. He said he was not going to do another match and compared the tag match at Crown Jewel to KISS and the Rolling Stones going overseas to “play their greatest hits”. On the financial front, he stated that he could make more money doing a singles match at WrestleMania than this tag match but did note that this tag match “was a special request” without mentioning who requested it. He said he could still feel the effects of the match, citing his knees and didn’t miss it.

The site adds that there is interest from the WWE in the 25-year old Lee, who had been wrestling for Impact since August 2015.
