**Wai Ting and I will be back Sunday night with the WWE Fastlane POST Show. You can listen and watch us live immediately after Fastlane if you are a Double Double + subscriber. The free version of the POST Show will be up late Sunday night.

WRESTLING NEWS

**The WWE has posted photos from Tommaso Ciampa’s anterior cervical fusion operation on Thursday. They added that it was considered a successful surgery, but no timeline was provided for his recovery. The NXT title situation is expected to be addressed next Wednesday at the final set of NXT tapings before TakeOver in Brooklyn. Ciampa’s last match before surgery will be airing next week on NXT with DIY taking on Ricochet and Aleister Black in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

**The WWE has added a tag match to the Fastlane kickoff show on Sunday at 6 pm Eastern. Xavier Woods and Big E. will be taking on Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev. The join the previously announced singles match between Rey Mysterio and Andrade for the kickoff portion of the card.

**We have confirmed that “Filthy” Tom Lawlor will no longer be part of Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport on Thursday, April 4th. Lawlor will be appearing at the MLW card that night at the Melrose Ballroom in a New York City street fight against Jimmy Havoc.

**Ring of Honor has announced that prior to the G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden, there will be a one-hour pre-show at 6:30 pm Eastern. The pre-show will feature an Honor Rumble match with participants from Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. On Thursday, it was confirmed that Taiji Ishimori will defend the IWGP junior heavyweight title against both Dragon Lee and Bandido on the main card that night.

**The Buffalo News has a feature on the life of Dick Beyer and his importance to the community of Akron, New York.

**This Sunday during Fastlane, they are experimenting with a “Watch Along” hosted by Pat McAfee watching the pay-per-view live. He will be joined throughout the show by the New Day, Mustafa Ali, The IIconics, Christian, Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Cathy Kelley. The “Watch Along” will be free to watch through WWE’s social media channels on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.

**The WWE starts their weekend shows with a live event in Toronto tonight at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. They are advertising matches with Ronda Rousey vs. Ruby Riott, Bobby Lashley vs. Finn Balor, and Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin. The Raw crew will be in Rochester, New York on Saturday and SmackDown will be in Detroit. The pay-per-view is Sunday from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

**Game Changer Wrestling put out a teaser with LAX challenging the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express to a match at Spring Break over WrestleMania weekend. Those shows are going to incredible crowds and that type of match is going to get over so well on that card.

**There will be a WaleMania event over WrestleMania week taking place Thursday, April 4th at Sony Hall in New York. They have announced Samoa Joe, MVP, Booker T., Shane Strickland, Kenny King, and Moose will be attending.

**ACH had first match as a member of the NXT roster on Thursday in Largo, Florida. The recent signing was introduced under his real name of Albert Hardie and lost to Raul Mendoza. Sasha Banks and Bayley also appeared at the show as they were in town for the WrestleMania press conference earlier in the day. The WWE women’s tag champions sat ringside for a three-way match with Io Shirai and Kairi Sane vs. Rhea Ripley & Reina Gonzalez vs. Vanessa Borne & Aliyah.

**We have a report on Thursday’s New Japan Cup with the first four tournament matches. The New Japan Cup continues Saturday in Aichi with the following tournament matches:
*Mikey Nicholls vs. Hikuleo
*Kazuchika Okada vs. Michael Elgin
*Will Ospreay vs. Bad Luck Fale
*Toa Henare vs. Lance Archer

**A promo ran on today’s New Japan card at Korakuen Hall revealing that Canadian wrestler El Phantasmo would be joining The Bullet Club.

**Here are the matches for tonight’s episode of New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV at 8 pm Eastern from the New Beginning in Osaka card:
*Taiji Ishimori vs. Ryusuke Taguchi for the IWGP junior heavyweight title

**MLW has announced that Teddy Hart has been added to the 40-man Battle Riot battle royal on Friday, April 5th at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York.

**Impact Wrestling will be partnering with Tried-N-True Pro to present a special “Salute to the Troops” event on April 12th from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The event will be free to active military members and their families and will stream on Twitch on May 11th at 8 pm Eastern.

**Fight Forever in the U.K. has announced a match between PAC and El Phantasmo on Friday, March 29th in Birmingham, England at the Pryzm.

**WWN has announced that they will be holding a three-day seminar and tryout at the WWN Academy in Port Richie, Florida. The WWE is sending Oney Lorcan, Norman Smiley, Serena Deeb, Terry Taylor, and Drake Wuertz to the seminar.

**The WWE stock closed at $83.93 on Friday.
