WH Park is joined by independent Australian wrestler and wrestling trainer, Davis Storm to discuss the finals of NJPW’s 15th annual G1 Climax tournament: Masahiro Chono vs. Kazuyuki Fujita from August 14, 2005.
Davis has been a fixture of the Australian wrestling scene for the last 17 years and works as a trainer at the EPW School of Pro Wrestling. He and WH talk about the history of wrestling in Australia and how he kept up with it as a fan with limited access.
Other topics include his match with Minoru Suzuki and being trained in the Inoki Dojo, the effectiveness of MMA moves in 2005 compared to today, and how New Japan could make better use of their veterans and tag team division.
