Jake Paul is set to return to the boxing ring before the end of 2026.
Most Valuable Promotions announced that Paul will fight in Dubai on Dec. 24. An opponent has not been confirmed, nor has a streamer.
Erich Richter of the New York Post reported that the Christmas Eve fight won’t be on Netflix due to changes in the company.
There is some legitimate speculation that Netflix could be exiting or reducing its live sporting event reach, as the streaming giant fired Bela Bajaria as the Chief Content Officer earlier this month, perhaps signaling a change in strategy.
Two of Paul’s last three fights were on Netflix, including the Mike Tyson bout and his last fight when he faced off against Anthony Joshua, who broke his jaw. Richter speculated that Paul’s Dec. 24 bout could be on DAZN PPV, as his last three fights before his Netflix bouts were.
The New York Post also noted that there is speculation that former UFC fighter Darren Till could face Paul, and they reported that MVP have been in contact with Chris Eubank, Edgar Berlanga and YouTuber KSI.
