AEW and NXT announce matches for the next two weeks

Coming out of Wednesday’s NXT and AEW Dynamite programs, both shows are peaking for big shows on December 18th, which will be their final live shows of 2019.

Coming out of Wednesday’s NXT and AEW Dynamite programs, both shows are peaking for big shows on December 18th, which will be their final live shows of 2019.

For AEW, the December 18th show from Corpus Christi, Texas will feature Chris Jericho taking on Jungle Boy.

On the same night, NXT will have Adam Cole defending the NXT title against the winner of next week’s triple threat match involving Keith Lee, Tommaso Ciampa, and Finn Balor. Plus, Shayna Baszler will defend the NXT women’s title on the same show against Rhea Ripley.

Next week’s shows will feature the following matches from each:

AEW on December 11th from Garland, Texas:
*The Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz in a Texas Street Fight
*Cody & QT Marshall vs. The Butcher & The Blade

NXT on December 11th:
*Tommaso Ciampa vs. Finn Balor vs. Keith Lee in a #1 contender’s match
*Lio Rush vs. Angel Garza for the Cruiserweight title
*Dakota Kai vs. Mia Yim

AEW on December 18th from Corpus Christi, Texas:
*Chris Jericho vs. Jungle Boy

NXT on December 18th:
*Adam Cole vs. TBA for the NXT title
*Shayna Baszler vs. Rhea Ripley for the NXT women’s title
