AEW Dynamite notes: Cody & Omega on commentary, Lance Archer’s debut, Brodie Lee

Tonight's Dynamite was a mix of taped and live content, Brodie Lee makes his in-ring debut, Lance Archer to make his in-ring debut next week and Kenny Omega retained his AAA Mega Championship.

All Elite Wrestling presented Dynamite on TNT from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida on March 25th and per POST Wrestling’s own John Pollock, the show was a mix of live and taped content. It is unknown which parts of the show were taped other than the vignettes.

Following Cody’s match against Jimmy Havoc on Dynamite, he returned to the commentary desk and stated that Lance Archer can debut next week, to which Archer obliged and it’s official that on next week’s show, the former IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion is set to make his debut on Dynamite.

Brodie Lee made his Dynamite in-ring debut by picking up a victory over QT Marshall. On last week’s show, Lee was revealed as “The Exalted One” of Dark Order. A segment aired during tonight’s show with The Dark Order showing them eating dinner and as they were eating, Alex Reynolds sneezed which led to Brodie Lee immediately becoming frustrated at Alex’s sneezing.

The current AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose cut a promo from the comfort of her own home as she was not present at tonight’s Dynamite. Also, Taz went live on the All Elite Wrestling YouTube channel following tonight’s show to recap all of the action on the night.

On top of his duties on commentary, Kenny Omega successfully defended the AAA Mega Championship against Sammy Guevara.
