AJ Styles returned on Monday’s taped edition of Raw to win the ‘Last Chance Money in the Bank Gauntlet Match’ to be part of the ladder match that airs this Sunday.

Styles was the final entrant in the seven-match gauntlet series and defeated Humberto Carrillo with the calf crusher to qualify for the match. Other participants in the match included Austin Theory, Angel Garza, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Akira Tozawa, and Titus O’Neil.

It was Styles’ first appearance on WWE programming since losing the ‘Boneyard Match’ to The Undertaker on the first night of WrestleMania on April 4th.

Styles joins Daniel Bryan, Otis, King Corbin, Rey Mysterio, and Aleister Black on the men’s side of the ladder match, which will take place the same time as the women’s match involving Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Dana Brooke, Carmella, and Lacey Evans.

The Money in the Bank Ladder match was taped several weeks ago at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
