2-on-1 handicap match for the Universal title added to WWE Backlash

The Universal title match at WWE Backlash was made official during Friday Night SmackDown with Braun Strowman defending the title in a handicap match.

After pinning The Miz, partner John Morrison issued a challenge to Strowman for the two to challenge Strowman for the Universal title and Strowman agreed. The 2-on-1 handicap match for the title will take place on Sunday, June 14th.

Strowman won the title at WrestleMania 36 from Bill Goldberg and defended it against Bray Wyatt at the Money in the Bank show, which aired earlier this month.
