IMPACT releases Joey Ryan and Dave Crist, suspends Michael Elgin

After allegations against several performers with the organization, IMPACT Wrestling has acted by terminating two contracts and suspended another performer.

After allegations against several performers with the organization, IMPACT Wrestling has acted by terminating two contracts and suspended another performer.

In a statement released to POST Wrestling and through their website, IMPACT announced the following actions on Monday night:

IMPACT Wrestling confirms that it has terminated its contracts with Dave Crist and Joey Ryan, effective immediately. In addition, it has suspended Michael Elgin pending further review of allegations of misconduct.

Ryan (Joseph Ryan Meehan) has been accused of several allegations including an anonymous post from a female stating that she was forced to perform a sexual act on him. Ryan has de-activated his Twitter account, as well as the account for his Bar Wrestling promotion.

Crist has been accused of sexual abuse and sending inappropriate photos that were unsolicited among the allegations.

Elgin (Aaron Frobel) has been accused of sending unwanted photos.
