AEW All Out notes: Matt Sydal competes, Full Gear on 11/7, Dynamite announcements

AEW held the second installment of their All Out pay-per-view and there were a handful of notes coming out of the show including the All Elite Wrestling debut of Matt Sydal in the Casino Battle Royale.

AEW All Out was live on FITE and Bleacher Report Live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville. The show featured the AEW in-ring debut of Matt Sydal who competed in the Casino Battle Royale. Sydal’s debut came with a hiccup as he attempted to hit his signature ‘Shooting Star Press’ and slipped on the top rope as he tried to complete the full rotation.

The winner of the All Out Casino Battle Royale was Lance Archer. With that win, Archer earned himself a shot at the AEW World Championship. In the main event of All Out, Jon Moxley defeated MJF to retain the AEW World Title.

Hikaru Shida was able to retain her AEW Women’s World Championship by defeating the NWA World Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa. Also during the pay-per-view, AEW provided information on their next pay-per-view event which will be Full Gear on November 7th. Jim Ross stated on commentary that the event will be emanating from Daily’s Place.

Segments and matches were set up for the 9/9 episode of Dynamite including Dustin Rhodes challenging Brodie Lee for the TNT Championship. Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford did a backstage interview and said they’ll be having their wedding live on Dynamite but before that, Sabian is going to reveal who his best man is this Wednesday on Dynamite. During that same segment, Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford made light of the news regarding WWE wanting their talents who are under contract to disassociate themselves from their third-party affiliations such as Twitch and Cameo.

Also, the current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is going to be present on Dynamite for a promo segment.
