On Monday’s episode of Raw, they announced two matches for next week’s show, and there appeared to be an injury during the show.

SmackDown tag champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura appeared on Raw to revive the “Brand-to-Brand Invitational” and challenge Raw tag champions The Street Profits to a match on next Monday’s show. The Street Profits agreed to the Champions vs. Champions Match on Monday, September 14th.

It was also announced that Asuka will defend the Raw women’s title against Mickie James on next week’s show. The two teamed on this show to defeat Natalya & Lana with Asuka tagging herself in and submitting Lana with the Asuka Lock.

During an eight-man tag with Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander vs. Apollo Crews, Ricochet & Viking Raiders, there appeared to be an injury to Ivar after he dove to several members of The Hurt Business on the floor. We were told that they went to the finish early but didn’t receive word if Ivar was seriously injured or not.

WWE provided the following update:

During the Eight-Man Tag Team Match on Monday Night Raw, Ivar suffered a cervical injury on a Viking Dive to the floor. As a precaution, Ivar was transported to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Earlier in the show, Cedric Alexander turned on Apollo Crews and Ricochet during a six-man tag against The Hurt Business. Alexander aligned himself with The Hurt Business and teamed with them later in the show for the eight-man tag.
