All Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual Real-World Tag League concluded Monday with the tournament coming down to the final match.

In the main event at Korakuen Hall, Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi secured the Tag League defeating Jake Lee & Koji Iwamoto.

Miyahara, who had previously won the Tag League in 2015 teaming with Suwama, had feuded with Aoyagi earlier in the year after Aoyagi attacked him on January 3rd at Korakuen Hall. It led to a Triple Crown match on February 11th where Miyahara retained the championship.

The winners finished with ten points, earning the Tag League with Daisuke Sekimoto & Abdullah Kobayashi, Jake Lee & Koji Iwamoto, Tajiri & Masato Tanaka, and Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa tying for second place with eight points each.

The field rounded out with Yoshitatsu & Ryoji Sai and Shotaro Ashino & Kuma Arashi finishing with six points, and Izanagi & Shigehiro Irie at the bottom with two points.

In the penultimate match on the show, Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa defeated Daisuke Sekimoto & Abdullah Kobayashi. The latter team defeated Miyahara & Aoyagi on the opening night of the tournament but had a loss against Lee & Iwamoto, so whoever won the final match was going to take the crown.

The other Tag League matches from Monday saw Yoshitatsu & Ryoji Sai defeat Shotaro Ashino & Kuma Arashi, and Tajiri & Masato Tanaka beat Izanagi & Shigehiro Irie.

All Japan’s last major show of 2020 takes place this Sunday at Korakuen Hall. That is followed by back-to-back shows at Korakuen Hall on January 2 and 3, 2021.
