During Friday’s broadcast of “Good Riddance”, GCW announced they will host a 24-hour fundraising event in January titled “Fight Forever”.

In conjunction with Orange Crush, the promotion will stream for 24-hours consecutively from Friday, January 29th at 8 pm eastern through the same time on Saturday, January 30th.

The stream will be live and free from a closed set with the press release noting that negative COVID-19 tests are mandatory for staff and wrestlers to participate. There will also be enforcement for masks to be worn.

The event will serve as a “digital telethon” for fans to contribute and assist with independent talent who were impacted by the lack of shows in 2020 due to the pandemic. 100 percent of the donations will be going to the performers.

Brett Lauderdale of GCW:

Independent wrestling is built on the passion and dedication of its talented performers. Their sacrifice fuels our industry. These athletes need support, and with no immediate end in sight to the current circumstances, FIGHT FOREVER is a historic opportunity for the wrestling community to come together and have their back when they need it the most.

The funding for the show is being provided by Orange Crush with commercial time and sponsorships available.

In the press release, it was stated that matches and performers would be revealed in the coming weeks.
