CMLL and Bandido part ways

CMLL put out a press release about Bandido's exit from the company

Bandido was last in action for CMLL on April 3rd when he, Caristico & Diamante Azul defeated Euforia, Ultimo Guerrero and Templario. Today, CMLL announced that Bandido is no longer with the company.

Their post noted that it was an agreement between both parties and they wished him the best going forward.

Bandido joined CMLL in 2019 and had been working with the company since then. In late 2018, he signed a deal with Ring of Honor and this past January, Bandido re-signed with ROH. He competed at their 19th Anniversary pay-per-view in two separate matches and the second bout saw Bandido, Flamita and Rey Horus compete in a three way.

Bandido is in his early 20s and was a regular for PWG and is the promotion’s current world champion. In 2019, he participated in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament and the year prior, he was a part of the ALL IN main event.
