Dabba-Kato helps Apollo Crews win Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 37

With assistance from former Raw Underground competitor Dabba-Kato, Apollo Crews became Intercontinental Champion

The fifth match that took take place on night two of WrestleMania 37 was Big E defending the Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum Fight. The match consisted of no disqualifications and all objects were legal but the pin had to take place in the ring.

After a sprint between Crews and Big E, E began to take control of the match but was ambushed by former Raw Underground competitor Dabba-Kato. Dabba-Kato joined WWE in 2016 and he is now backing Apollo Crews and assisted him in becoming the new Intercontinental Champion.

PWInsider reported that Dabba-Kato will now be known as “Commador Azeez” or “Azez”.

This is Crews’ second title win since he joined the main roster. He held the United States Title in 2020.
