AEW Dynamite notes: The Pinnacle get Blood & Guts advantage, Miro/Kip Sabian

The Pinnacle get the advantage heading into Blood & Guts, Miro attacks Kip Sabian, Cody Rhodes returns and more on the 4/28 AEW Dynamite

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara & Jake Hager) are clashing with The Pinnacle (MJF, Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Wardlow & Shawn Spears) in a Blood & Guts match. The Pinnacle were given the match advantage after Guevara offered to start the match and let them have the one-up.

Kip Sabian met Miro in the backstage area and Sabian was attacked by Miro. It was the first time the two crossed paths on-screen since losing the Arcade Anarchy tag team match.

Cody Rhodes made his return to Dynamite and took out QT Marshall. Rhodes locked in the Figure-Four on Marshall on top of the Nightmare Family bus. Cody and QT are going one-on-one on 5/5.

There were several additions made to next week’s show as Kenny Omega and MT Nakazawa will take on Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley. Britt Baker will be in action on 5/5 as well.

The Young Bucks are going to defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles on 5/12 and their opponents are going to be determined via a tag team eliminator match that is taking place next week. S.C.U. (Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels), Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus), Varsity Blonds (Brian Pillman Jr. & Griff Garrison) and The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) are the teams competing in that match. On the 4/28 Dynamite, Kazarian and Daniels did confront The Young Bucks and the stipulation is still intact that the next time S.C.U. loses a tag match, they will split.

Darby Allin successfully retained the TNT Title in the main event when he defeated 10 (Preston Vance). Ethan Page attempted to cost Darby the title and post-match, Ethan and Scorpio Sky took out both Darby and Sting.
