New GHC National Champion crowned at ‘NOAH The Glory’

The fifth GHC National Champion was crowned at Pro Wrestling NOAH's 'NOAH The Glory' event

Since being added to the list of championships within Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2019, there have only been several times that the GHC National Championship changed hands and at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘Noah The Glory’ show, it changed hands for a fifth time.

Takashi Sugiura, the inaugural National Champion recaptured the title by defeating Kazuyuki Fujita who won the belt at ‘NOAH The Infinity’ in March.

Sugiura’s first title reign lasted 189 days and after becoming a two-time champion, he was challenged by former MMA fighter and GHC Tag Team Champion Kazushi Sakuraba.
