During Saturday night’s AAA Rey de Reyes show, Andrade El Idolo appeared by video and issued a challenge for Kenny Omega.
In a pre-taped video, the former WWE performer appeared in a sit-down address. Andrade challenged AAA Mega Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega to a match at TripleMana for later this year.
Andrade was granted his release from WWE this past March, which did not contain a no-compete clause allowing Andrade to wrestle immediately. Over the past week, it was revealed that Andrade would wrestle on the debut event for Federacion Wrestling on June 19th and has also scheduled a match against Alberto El Patron for July 31st in Texas.
During Rey de Reyes, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo issued a challenge to Reina de Reinas Champion Faby Apache for a Title vs. Title Match at TripleMania, which doesn’t have a date advertised yet.
