U.S. cable network Starz has revealed that its scripted drama series ‘Heels’ will premiere this August.
On Sunday, it was announced that the pro-wrestling-themed drama series will premiere on Sunday, August 15th at 9 pm ET/PT in the United States and Canada on all platforms for Starz.
The series stars Stephen Amell playing the lead role of ‘Jack Spade’ alongside Alexander Ludwig as younger brother ‘Ace’. Phil Brooks a.k.a. ‘CM Punk’ will also have a role in the series as wrestler ‘Ricky Rabies’.
The series was greenlit in February 2017 as a co-production of Paramount Television, Lionsgate Television, and LBI Entertainment.
