Kia Stevens (Awesome Kong) and Shanna, now-former members of All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division are no longer with the company because their contracts were not renewed.

F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer independently confirmed the story. Stevens and Shanna’s profiles were removed from the AEW roster page which was pointed out on social media over the weekend.

Stevens first arrived in AEW at the 2019 Double Or Nothing pay-per-view and she was involved in a four-way with Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae and the newly crowned AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker. Stevens would wrestle four matches for AEW following her debut. Her last match aired as a part of a January 2020 episode of AEW Dark.

Shanna was in action this past April on Dark: Elevation. She returned to AEW in November after being away from the company since February of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In video packages to promote Shanna during the beginning stages of her AEW run, she was candid that prior to her AEW signing, she was considering retiring from wrestling.

Over the recent months and dating back to mid-2020, AEW has added Red Velvet, Jade Cargill, Leyla Hirsch and Serena Deeb to their women’s division. Thunder Rosa has been regularly featured on AEW programming since last Fall although she is contracted to the National Wrestling Alliance.
