Penta and Je’Von Evans defeated Bron Breakker and Austin Theory to win the World Tag Team Championship at WWE Crown Jewel.
Evans pinned Theory after hitting the OG Cutter at the end of a 14-minute match in Riyadh, with Oba Femi appearing during the closing stages to take out Bronson Reed.
Reed had earlier interfered on behalf of Breakker and Theory after Maxxine Dupri prevented Penta from scoring a pinfall by placing Theory’s foot on the bottom rope.
While Dupri distracted referee Ryan Tran, Reed emerged from the crowd and pulled Penta to the floor before hitting him with a Death Valley Driver. He also took Evans out at ringside, allowing Breakker and Theory to hit an electric-chair bulldog on Penta for a near fall.
The lights then went out before Femi’s music played.
Reed charged toward Femi at the top of the entrance stage, but Femi stopped him and threw him from the stage through tables on the floor.
Breakker left the ring and stared down Femi, opening the door for the challengers to regain control. Penta took Breakker out with a dive before returning to the ring and hitting Theory with the Mexican Destroyer.
Evans followed with the OG Cutter and pinned Theory to give the team the championship at 14:34.
