New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced a major card for the U.S. market this summer with a card scheduled in Los Angeles.

On Saturday night, New Japan announced a live event called ‘Resurgence’ with fans at The Torch at The L.A. Memorial Coliseum scheduled for Saturday, August 14th.

The Torch is a 5,000 seat venue at the front of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum and has adjustable seating that can accommodate as many as 10,000, per its website.

In its video announcement they promoted the following names for the event:

*Ren Narita
*Shota Umino
*Alex Coughlin

*Brody King
*JR Kratos

They stated that tickets for the event will go on sale Wednesday, June 30th.

This event will be New Japan’s first event with fans in the United States since 2019.
