WWE Hell In A Cell notes: Lashley defeats McIntyre, Ripley/Flair, Belair

Lashley is still WWE Champion, Bianca Belair defeats Bayley and more from WWE's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view

To close out WWE’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, Bobby Lashley successfully defended the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. MVP assisted Lashley in retaining his title. The stipulation was that if McIntyre lost, he would not be able to challenge for the WWE Title again while Lashley is champion.

Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair went one-on-one for the Raw Women’s Title. The match resulted in a disqualification after Ripley hit Charlotte Flair with the announce table cover.

The first Hell In A Cell match of the night saw Bianca Belair defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Bayley. That was Bianca’s second successful title defense since winning the belt at WrestleMania 37.

On the pay-per-view Kickoff show, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Natalya scored a win over Mandy Rose. On this past Monday’s Raw, Rose and Natalya brawled alongside their respective tag partners, Tamina and Dana Brooke.
