After an abrupt finish to Sunday’s main event, Stardom has provided an update on the injury sustained to Natsuko Tora.

Sunday’s Yokohama Dream Cinderella event saw Utami Hayashishita defend the World of Stardom Championship against Tora but ended without a finish.

Tora hopped off the apron to the floor with her left knee immediately giving out with the wrestler unable to put weight on the leg showing obvious signs of pain. The referee called off the match as trainers tended to Tora.

On Monday, Stardom put out a statement confirming that Tora has suffered a torn ACL and is off all upcoming shows.

Tora had just been announced for the annual 5* Grand Prix, which is set to begin later this month. No replacement for Tora has been named.

Tora, 30, has been wrestling since 2016 with her entire career spent with Stardom. Tora is a member of the Oedo Tai unit and is a former two-time Artist of Stardom six-woman champion and one-time Goddess of Stardom tag champion.

We wish Tora as speedy a recovery as possible.
