Hiromu Takahashi has announced he has received a doctor’s clearance to return after suffering a torn pectoral muscle earlier this year.

Hiromu Takahashi has announced he has received a doctor’s clearance to return after suffering a torn pectoral muscle earlier this year.

The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion tweeted the following message on Thursday:

Takahashi, 31, was forced to vacate the junior heavyweight championship this past February after tearing his left pectoral muscle.

He was on his fourth reign as champion after defeating Taiji Ishimori on the second night of Wrestle Kingdom this past January at the Tokyo Dome.

There has been no announcement regarding his return date from NJPW.
