Domino’s assessing advertising future on AEW programming after pizza cutter spot

Domino's assessing their advertising future on AEW programming after the Nick Gage/Chris Jericho pizza cutter spot at Fight For The Fallen

Domino’s expresses concern over the pizza cutter spot and ad during AEW Fight For The Fallen.

The main event of AEW Fight For The Fallen saw former GCW World Champion Nick Gage take on Chris Jericho. Jericho is working his way through challenges in order to get a match with MJF and his latest test was Nick Gage.

During the No Rules match, Nick Gage used a pizza cutter on Jericho’s forehead. As that happened, an ad popped up on the screen for Domino’s and in the commercial, a pizza cutter was being used. Jenny Fouracre-Petko, Director of Public Relations & Charitable Giving at Domino’s Pizza told Front Office Sports that Domino’s is separating themselves from any involvement or knowledge of the pizza cutter spot on AEW programming.

Domino’s had no prior knowledge that-that was going to happen on the show and the company is now assessing their advertising future during AEW programming.

“We share the concerns expressed about this incident and the content of this TV-14 rated program, and are assessing our advertising presence on it going forward,” said Fouracre-Petko.

As more information about this development comes to light, POST Wrestling will provide updates on the story. To hear the latest episode of Rewind-A-Dynamite during which this main event was discussed, head over to this link.
