The new #1 contenders to the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles are Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson

New challengers to the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles have arisen.

Several weeks ago, the Tag Team Turbulence tournament kicked off on NJPW STRONG. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson), TJP and Clark Connors, The DKC and Kevin Knight, Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs, Brody King and Chris Dickinson, Danny Limelight and J.R. Kratos, Yuji Nagata and Ren Narita along with Wheeler YUTA and Fred Yehi were the participating teams.

The finals saw The Good Brothers versus Brody King and Chris Dickinson and it was Gallows and Anderson emerging victorious to win the tournament. They are now in line to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships which are currently in the possession of Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi.

Sabre Jr. and Taichi regained the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Titles at Wrestle Grand Slam at the Tokyo Dome. That show was headlined by Shingo Takagi versus Hiroshi Tanahashi.
