Danny Burch rejoins Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Ridge Holland.
The first match on the 8/24 edition of NXT saw Ridge Holland pick up a win over Timothy Thatcher. There was a brawl involving the two parties’ respective allies on the outside. Ciampa and Thatcher brawled with Holland, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and the returning Danny Burch.
This was Burch’s first appearance on NXT since March. He had been out of action with a separated shoulder and because of that injury, he and Oney had to relinquish the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Up until the injury, Burch and Lorcan had been reigning as champions since October 2020.
