Lawlor versus Rush headlining this week’s STRONG.
The ‘Fighting Spirit Unleashed’ theme of NJPW STRONG continues on the 10/2 episode. Tom Lawlor, the reigning STRONG Openweight Champion is defending his title against Lio Rush.
In addition to that bout, J.R. Kratos is going one-on-one with Fred Yehi and rounding out the show lineup is a singles match between Royce Isaacs and Chris Dickinson.

Over the weekend, NJPW hosted STRONG tapings in Garland, Texas and matches with the likes of Lio Rush, Will Ospreay, Taiji Ishimori and more were taped.
While mentioning Rush, AEW President Tony Khan noted several weeks ago that he had been in contact with Rush about a return to All Elite Wrestling.
