WWE Raw notes: Paul Heyman gets Usos drafted to SmackDown, Austin Theory, Belair/Flair

Paul Heyman fulfills Roman Reigns' request, Austin Theory beats down Jeff Hardy, Sasha Banks stands tall to close the show and more from Raw

The final night of the 2021 WWE Draft took place on 10/4 and going into night two, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns requested that Paul Heyman make sure that Jimmy and Jey Uso were drafted to SmackDown or they were to leave Heyman “for dead” at Raw. Heyman followed through and got The Usos drafted to SmackDown.

Before Jeff Hardy officially becomes a member of the SmackDown roster in two weeks, he challenged Damian Priest for the U.S. Title. Hardy was unsuccessful in his attempt but he thanked the fans after the match. Hardy was then joined in the ring by Austin Theory who pretended to want a photo with Hardy before attacking him.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode confronted Drew McIntyre and WWE Champion Big E. Ziggler asked for a ‘thank you’ from both Big E and McIntyre for what he’s done for their respective careers. McIntyre and Big E went on to defeat Roode and Ziggler and they are scheduled to go one-on-one for the WWE Title at Crown Jewel.

While Dana Brooke’s match against Shayna Baszler was ongoing, Raw announcer Corey Graves made a number of remarks about Brooke not meeting her potential, being on Raw and SmackDown multiple times and not making as big of an impact as compared to some of her colleagues. After Baszler scored the win, there was a confrontation between her and Doudrop. Soon after, Baszler was moved to SmackDown.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews is back on Raw. He was spotlighted in a 24/7 Title segment.

Closing the show was Bianca Belair versus Charlotte Flair. As Belair was about to get the win, she was pulled out of the ring by SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. They brawled in the ring before Sasha Banks joined the mix and took out both Belair and Lynch.

Kevin Owens was drafted to Raw and he was confronted by Akira Tozawa. Owens gave Tozawa a ‘Stunner’ and left the ring.

Clay Travis and HARDY were both present at Raw in Nashville.

The Women’s Tag Team Titles were on the line and Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. retained over Tamina and Natalya.
