Edge wants Rollins inside Hell In A Cell, SmackDown on FS1 next week featuring Brock Lesnar, Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch and more

Edge appeared at the conclusion of the 10/8 Friday Night SmackDown and brawled with Seth Rollins. Last week, Rollins invaded Edge’s home which has led to Edge challenging Rollins to a Hell In A Cell match.

The 2021 King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments got underway. The King of the Ring finals are taking place at Crown Jewel on October 21st. Sami Zayn defeated Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor defeated Cesaro in first-round match ups to advance. Zelina Vega bested Toni Storm and Carmella defeated Liv Morgan to advance in the Queen’s Crown. On next week’s SmackDown which will air on FS1, Carmella versus Zelina Vega and Sami Zayn versus Finn Balor are taking place in the semifinal round for those respective tournaments.

The 8/15 SmackDown will also feature the in-ring return of Sonya Deville. Deville alerted Naomi that they are going one-on-one. It will be Sonya’s first match since SummerSlam 2020.

In addition to Deville versus Naomi, Brock Lesnar is appearing on the 8/15 SmackDown ahead of his Universal Title match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. Announced as the main event for next week is Sasha Banks versus SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.

There was an in-ring segment on tonight’s show where Universal Champion Roman Reigns requested that Paul Heyman look directly into the camera and let Brock Lesnar know what is coming his way.

It was first reported by Fightful Select that WWE Champion Big E was scheduled to appear on Big Noon Kickoff on FS1. That was confirmed by WWE. Big E will be a part of the broadcast for the Iowa versus Penn State football game. Big E played defensive tackle for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
