A new champion crowned in NXT 2.0

Closing out the 10/12 installment of NXT 2.0 saw Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott defending the North American Championship against Santos Escobar. When the show went off the air, Carmelo Hayes was holding the North American Title above his head.

Scott defeated Escobar in their singles match and prior to Scott getting the victory, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams made their way to the ring to even the odds and take out Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. As Hayes and Williams were seemingly celebrating Scott’s win, they ambushed him and Hayes used his Breakout tournament contract to get a shot at and ultimately win the North American Title.

Isaiah Scott along with the remainder of Hit Row were drafted to SmackDown as a part of the 2021 WWE Draft. Hit Row’s Top Dolla detailed what it was like for the group to get drafted during a recent interview. To read his comments, click here.
