Trey Miguel is the new X Division Champion after the title was vacated by Josh Alexander as part of “Option C”.

Miguel defeated El Phantasmo and Steve Maclin in a triple threat match at Bound for Glory on Saturday night to claim the vacant championship.

The three had a terrific match with some incredible moments and was a fantastic showcase for Maclin, who previously wrestled as Steve Cutler in WWE.

The match climaxed with Maclin being sent to the floor and Miguel was left with El Phantasmo. After ELP attempted a low blow, Miguel revealed he was wearing a cup and proceeded to attack with a brainbuster and Meteora to win the match.

Miguel succeeds Josh Alexander in the title lineage after Alexander vacated the title as part of “Option C” in order to challenge Christian Cage for the IMPACT Championship in the main event of Bound for Glory.
