Hangman Adam Page defeats Kenny Omega for AEW World Title at Full Gear

Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship reign ended by Hangman Adam Page

The fourth AEW World Champion has been crowned.

Headlining All Elite Wrestling’s 2021 Full Gear pay-per-view was Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page. Towards the conclusion of the match, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) made their way to ringside and before Hangman connected his second ‘Buckshot Lariat’, Matt Jackson gave Page a head nod of approval and after hitting his finisher, Hangman became AEW World Champion.

While he was celebrating in the ring, members of Dark Order came out and joined him. They held Hangman Page on their shoulders to close the event.

Page’s first appearance as AEW World Champion is taking place on 11/17 in his home-state of Virginia. This week’s Dynamite is emanating from the Scope Arena in Norfolk.

First in line to challenge Hangman for the title is Bryan Danielson who defeated Miro in the finals of the World Title Eliminator tournament
