New Japan’s World Tag League resumed on Wednesday in Toyama with a four-way tie for first place after the card.

The main event of Wednesday’s show saw IWGP tag champions Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi improve to 2-0 in the tournament with a win against Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens.

The finish came when Sabre hit the Zack Driver on Owens and scored the fall for the reigning champions as they move their point total to four, placing them in a tie for the first spot.

After two shows, the tag champions are tied with Tetsuya Naito & SANADA, Guerrillas of Destiny, and Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano with all four teams victorious on Wednesday.

Naito & SANADA defeated Minoru Suzuki & Taka Michinoku with SANADA using the Skull End to submit Michinoku.

The next World Tag League card is on Friday from Nagano with Guerrillas of Destiny taking on YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto in the main event.
