WWE postpones four Canadian events, issues statement on new dates

WWE has postponed four Canadian dates for January 2022 with the shows being moved to later in the year.

WWE has postponed four Canadian dates for January 2022 with the shows being moved to later in the year.

The company was scheduled to host Friday Night SmackDown from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 21st followed by live events in Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan that weekend, and then an episode of Raw on January 24th from Edmonton, Alberta.

The four dates have been moved to September and October of 2022.

WWE issued the following statement to POST Wrestling confirming the changes and new dates:

The WWE Friday Night SmackDown live event scheduled for January 21, 2022 at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg has been rescheduled to Friday, September 30.

The WWE Supershow live event scheduled for January 22, 2022 at the Brandt Centre in Regina has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 1.

The WWE Supershow live event scheduled for January 23, 2022 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon has been rescheduled and will now be WWE Live on Sunday, October 2.

The WWE Monday Night Raw live event scheduled for January 24, 2022 at Rogers Place in Edmonton has been rescheduled to Monday, September 26.

Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.ca and all originally purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

The new locations for the January shows are as follows:
*Friday, January 21 – Friday Night SmackDown at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee
*Saturday, January 22 – WWE live event at the Corbin Arena in Corbin, Kentucky
*Sunday, January 23 – WWE live event at the Mountain Health Arena in Huntington, West Virginia
*Monday, January 24 – WWE Raw at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio
