The World Tag League is complete with the winners set to receive a future IWGP tag title shot.

Wednesday’s final at Sumo Hall culminated with Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI of CHAOS defeating EVIL & Yujiro and winning the Tag League for the first time.

After thwarting the tactics of the House of Torture and overcoming a referee bump, Goto and YOSHI-HASHI executed a new double-team maneuver on Yujiro for the victory.

The winning team avenged their round-robin loss to EVIL & Yujiro and finished the tournament with a 10-2 record. Their other loss was to Tetsuya Naito & SANADA.

The move included YOSHI-HASHI applying a full nelson, lifting Yujiro’s leg onto the shoulders of Goto, and spinning him into a neck breaker.

The trophy was presented to the CHAOS members, who are expected to receive a tag title match with champions Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi at one of the Wrestle Kingdom 16 events.
