The 34-year old made his AEW debut on Wednesday night’s special “Holiday Bash” edition of Dynamite as he assisted Adam Cole in his win against Orange Cassidy.

With Bobby Fish distracting the referee, O’Reilly appeared and attacked Cassidy leading to Cole hitting The Boom and pinning Cassidy.

After a stand-off between Cole and O’Reilly, the two joined Fish and attacked the Best Friends. The Young Bucks came down and entered the ring before Cole departed with his former Undisputed Era stable matches without The Bucks.

O’Reilly became a free agent earlier this year, ending his four-year tenure at WWE after losing a steel cage match to Von Wagner on the December 7th episode of NXT 2.0.

AEW posted a graphic after Wednesday’s segment announcing that O’Reilly had joined the company.
