AEW welcomes Jake Atlas to the talent roster.

After stepping away from the ring in September 2021, Jake Atlas made his return to pro wrestling at an AEW Dark: Elevation taping on December 28th. Following his win over Serpentico, AEW President Tony Khan appeared and raised Atlas’ hand before returning to the backstage area.

Today, Khan made the announcement that Jake Atlas has signed with All Elite Wrestling and he’ll be present in Newark, New Jersey for AEW Dynamite’s debut show on TBS.

Jake stated that he opted to take a break from wrestling due to mental health reasons. After being released from WWE, Jake had his first match back on the independents against EFFY at GCW’s ‘Big Gay Brunch’ show. Before his hiatus, he had a singles match against Taylor Rust at Ring of Honor ‘Death Before Dishonor’.

Atlas has been wrestling for six years and he’s worked for promotions like PWG, PROGRESS, AAA, IMPACT Wrestling and now he’s a member of the AEW talent roster.
