All Japan’s January 9th event is postponed.

All Japan Pro Wrestling was scheduled to host an event on January 9th from Okazaki, Japan. The company announced that the show has been postponed due to several of their wrestlers and staff members developing fever symptoms.

The company will provide an update on when their Okazaki show is going to take place. The following statement was posted to All Japan’s website:

As of today, January 7 (Friday), due to fever symptoms among several of our players and staff, we have had to cancel the event.

We would like to inform you that we have to postpone the Okazaki event on January 9 due to the seriousness of the situation.

We will keep you updated on the progress of the event.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers and other people concerned.

Please keep your tickets in a safe place as they will be replaced or refunded.

The date for the Okazaki event will be announced as soon as it is decided.

On January 23rd, All Japan will be crowning a new Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion by way of a one-night tournament. The participants in the tourney are Suwama, Kento Miyahara, Shotaro Ashino and Ryuki Honda.
