Deonna Purrazzo defeats Rok-C for ROH Women’s World Title on 1/13 IMPACT on AXS

Deonna Purrazzo is the new Ring of Honor Women's World Champion after submitting Rok-C on the 1/13 IMPACT on AXS

Deonna Purrazzo is a double champion.

After failing to capture the IMPACT Knockouts World Title in the main event of Hard To Kill, Purrazzo headlined tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS and became Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion.

Purrazzo went one-on-one with the now-former champion Rok-C in a title versus title match. Purrazzo’s AAA Reina de Reinas Title was on the line and the conclusion of the match saw Deonna lock in a double arm bar to submit Rok-C.

Rok-C became Women’s World Champion at Death Before Dishonor in September. Purrazzo confronted Rok-C at Final Battle after Rok-C’s successful title defense against Willow Nightingale.

Ring of Honor is currently on a hiatus from live events but the company has announced their Supercard of Honor show for April 1st in Garland, Texas.
