Kurt Angle is scheduled to be back on WWE television imminently.

The WWE Hall of Famer announced on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, that he received a call over the weekend from WWE regarding a role on television:

They want me to be involved in the show for the next month or so and I’m, really excited about it, so we’ll see what’s in store for me.

Angle did not elaborate on any other details or which show he is scheduled to appear on.

The 53-year old served as the General Manager on Raw in 2017-18 and had his retirement match with the company at WrestleMania 35 the following year against Baron Corbin.

After transitioning to a producer role backstage, Angle was part of a wave of cuts in April 2020, although made one more appearance as a special enforcer referee on NXT several weeks later.

Last year, he launched his own podcast as part of the Ad Free Shows network.
