The SmackDown women’s championship will be on the line on next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

On Friday’s broadcast, it was announced by Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville that Charlotte Flair will defend her women’s championship against Naomi next week.

The match was made after Naomi confronted Deville and demanded she meet her in the ring after Deville eliminated Naomi from the Royal Rumble. Deville pivoted and said Naomi had a championship match, instead.

Earlier in the show, a rematch between Natalya and Aliyah was also announced for next week’s episode. The match must end with either a pinfall or submission.

The match was made after Aliyah defeated Natalya by count-out after sending Natalya into the barricade.

Next Friday’s edition of SmackDown will take place from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
