Cara Noir’s next challenger is Swerve.

The PROGRESS World Championship has been in Cara Noir’s possession for two years. The next challenger to his title is Shane ‘Swerve’ Strickland, who is making his first appearance for PROGRESS since 2018.

Their match is taking place on February 20th at PROGRESS’ Chapter 129 event.

Strickland’s 90-day non-compete with WWE will have expired by next week. He was released from the company in November alongside the remaining members of the group formerly known as ‘Hit Row’ (A.J. Francis, Briana Brandy & Tehuti Miles).

Over the weekend, Cara Noir was confronted by NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov at Chapter 128 and to read more about their encounter, check out POST Wrestling’s article about the topic.
