Big E. has provided another update after breaking his neck during a tag match on Friday Night SmackDown.

The performer posted a video Saturday morning:

I got some really good news all things considered. The C-1 and C-6 (vertebrae) are indeed fractured, not a displacement though, which is a very good thing and I don’t have any damage to my spinal cord, no ligament damage, and no surgery, which I’m very thankful for.

He was very thankful for the people hospital staff in Birmingham that has helped and was moved by all the messages and visits he has received since the injury occurred.

Big E. took a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor from Ridge Holland during their tag match and came down on his head. He was taken out of the arena on a stretcher and put his thumb up for the audience to see as he exited.

The match ended shortly after the injury with Sheamus pinning Kofi Kingston.

We wish for a full recovery for Big E.
