Gable Steveson ended his amateur wrestling career on Saturday night with his second NCAA championship.

Steveson was victorious against Cohlton Schultz to earn his second consecutive NCAA championship and proceeded to remove his wrestling shoes to signal his retirement.

Stevenson signed a multi-year agreement with WWE and was expected to start his professional wrestling career after his wrestling commitments this season with the University of Minnesota.

He finished the season 18-0 and follows his Olympic gold medal win at the games in Tokyo last summer.

Steveson was drafted to the Raw brand last October with his brother Bobby already part of NXT and wrestling under the name Damon Kemp.
