NJPW announces dates for the G1 Climax

New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the schedule for this year’s G1 Climax tournament, which begins in July.

The tournament will take over the course of a month and returns to the summer season with the final three nights Nippon Budokan. The 2020 and 2021 versions took place in the fall.

The G1 will begin on Saturday, July 16th with twenty shows ending with the finals on Thursday, August 18th.

Wednesday, July 20th – Xebio Arena in Sendai

Saturday, July 23rd – Ota Ward Gymnasium

Sunday, July 24th – Ota Ward Gymnasium

Wednesday, July 27th – Korakuen Hall

Saturday, July 30th – Nagoya at Dolphin’s Arena

Sunday, July 31st – Nagoya at Dolphin’s Arena

Friday, August 5th – Aichi

Saturday, August 6th – Osaka at Edion Arena
